Job Summary
Under general supervision, the Patient Care Coordinator provides direct nursing care to patients undergoing radiation therapy. The role focuses on patient education, symptom management, and treatment support.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver specialized care for cancer patients receiving radiation therapy.
- Provide patient education on treatment, side effects, and self‑care.
- Monitor symptoms and report changes to the oncology team.
- Advise patients and families on disease management and follow‑up care.
- Document care activities and maintain accurate patient records.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Montana Registered Nursing License.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience.
- Experience in oncology or radiation therapy is preferred.
Location:
St Patrick Hospital – Broadway Building, Missoula, MT
Job Type: Per‑Diem, On‑site
Schedule:
Nursing shift (shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, bonuses may be available.)
Wage Range: $3,500.00 – $3,500.00 (additional compensation may be available.)
