Oncology Ambulatory Care Nurse

Job Summary

Under general supervision, the Patient Care Coordinator provides direct nursing care to patients undergoing radiation therapy. The role focuses on patient education, symptom management, and treatment support.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver specialized care for cancer patients receiving radiation therapy.
• Provide patient education on treatment, side effects, and self‑care.
• Monitor symptoms and report changes to the oncology team.
• Advise patients and families on disease management and follow‑up care.
• Document care activities and maintain accurate patient records.

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Montana Registered Nursing License.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience.
• Experience in oncology or radiation therapy is preferred.

St Patrick Hospital – Broadway Building, Missoula, MT
Job Type: Per‑Diem, On‑site

Schedule:

Nursing shift (shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, bonuses may be available.)
Wage Range: $3,500.00 – $3,500.00 (additional compensation may be available.)
