$36.00 - $55.80, varying by experience and expertise.

Registered Nurse – OB Unit

Chicago, IL

Night Shift (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.). Requires alternating weekends, rotating holidays, and call. Float within Family Birth Center. Full‑time.

• Use the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Maintain competency in current standards of practice.
• Participate in professional development of peers and staff.
• Apply ethical principles to all aspects of nursing practice.
• Integrate evidence‑based practice and research findings into care.
• Adapt to non‑standard situations and promote patient and staff safety.
• Guide and supervise nursing personnel.
• Document care thoroughly and promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• At least 18 months of Labor & Delivery or Nursery Level II experience.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Mastery of nursing skills and effective communication.
• Illinois nursing licensure (RN).
• CPR, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certification; may be required within six months.
