The Registered Nurse is responsible for safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice, directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the DOU. The RN is directly responsible for the care given to assigned patients, communicates with physicians regarding changes in clinical condition, hemodynamic monitoring, diagnostic studies, abnormal results, and symptomatology.

Responds quickly and accurately to changes, maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.

• Current valid State Registered Nurse License
• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintained
• Current ACLS (AHA) certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintained (preferred)
• Minimum of one‑year experience as a staff RN in an acute care hospital, critical care preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Estimated wages and benefits range from $35.35 to $53.58 per hour. Final compensation will be determined at the time of hiring based on experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
