Where You Will Work

Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center is a Magnet‑designated hospital, offering a 32‑bed Observation/Telemetry unit that serves a diverse patient population. The unit combines observation and inpatient care with cardiac and med‑surg patients, providing nurses with varied experiences to broaden and strengthen clinical skills. It supports a multidisciplinary, team‑focused culture where collaboration and patient safety are paramount.

Responsibilities
  • Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
  • Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Use evidence‑based practice and clinical decision‑making to create a safe patient environment.
  • Communicate compassionately and lead efforts to improve patient experience across the continuum.
Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the RN practices.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • Inpatient RN experience is strongly preferred.
