This position is for a part‑time visiting professor teaching the BSN program online. Responsibilities include facilitating asynchronous discussions, leading synchronous live lectures, and providing student support via email, conferencing or telephone.

- Prepare and revise a Chamberlain‑approved syllabus with terminal objectives.
- Design, develop and update all course materials.
- Deliver all aspects of the teaching load autonomously.
- Use technology to create engaging online learning experiences (e‑mail, discussion boards, etc.).
- Model effective oral and written communication to engage students.
- Provide timely remediation and feedback on student work.
- Maintain exam content and weighting that align with course objectives.
- Demonstrate consistency and fairness in grading and feedback.
- Complete other duties as assigned and comply with policies.
- MSN or higher in nursing (Doctor of Nursing Practice preferred).
- Active Illinois RN license.
- Minimum 2 years of didactic teaching experience at the college or university level.
- Experience teaching online via Canvas or similar platform.
- Expertise in nursing subject matter and strong communication skills.
- Ability to teach in‑person in the Chicagoland area.
Compensation for this position ranges from $715 to $1,950 per earned credit hour, depending on education and experience. Adjustments may be made for course type, experience, licensure, market factors, and departmental budgets.
