Description:
Graduate from an accredited school of Practical Nursing in the State of Illinois. Current licensed as a Practical Nurse in the State of Illinois. BLS certification is required. Successful completion of coursework for medication administration is necessary. Documentation may be requested if applicable. Every other weekend availability is required, with two weekends per month. Request for time off must not exceed five days, with no more than two consecutive days off.
No time off will be granted during holidays or the days before or after holidays. No time off will be allowed on weekends. All resources are expected to float between different units as needed. Floating is a common practice within the facility. Resources must be prepared to float to areas outside of their primary competency if necessary. Two professional references are required prior to starting.
One reference must be from the most recent employer. It is essential to have a reliable and responsive communication for compliance. Modules must be completed prior to the start of the assignment and will take approximately four hours.
