10am-8pm, 11am-9pm, or 1pm-11pm with call requirements.

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to patients and families.
• Maintain competency reflective of current practice standards.
• Interact and contribute to professional development of peers and colleagues.
• Integrate ethical provisions in all nursing practice areas.
• Integrate evidence‑based practice and research findings into nursing care.
• Recognize and adapt to situations that vary from the norm.
• Promote safety measures to prevent patient and staff injuries.
• Guide and supervise staff in the provision of patient care.
• Enhance own professional growth and development.
• Maintain a safe therapeutic working environment and act in emergency situations.
• Complete documentation thoroughly and timely.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
• Licensed as an RN in Illinois.
• CPR and BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Complete PALS certification within 3 months of start.
• Prefer at least one year of experience as a staff nurse.
• Demonstrate mastery of nursing skills.
• Communicate effectively; experienced RNs should be able to guide and supervise nursing personnel.
• Reliable transportation for floating.
