Registered Nurse (RN) - Corrections | Chicago, IL | 13-Week Contract

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a rewarding opportunity in Chicago, IL.

Position Details:

• Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Extension Possible)
• Schedule:
  
  3x12-Hour Shifts
• Shift Options:
  Days or Nights
• Every Other Weekend Required

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medical and surgical nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting
• Perform patient assessments and monitor health status
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and facility staff to ensure quality patient care
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies and changing patient conditions

Requirements:

• Active Illinois RN License
• AHA BLS Certification
• Previous acute care nursing experience preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work in a secure correctional environment
• Willingness to float between units as needed
