Registered Nurse – ICU (Night or Day Shift)
Chicago, IL 12-Week Contract Competitive Weekly Pay
We're seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a 12-week contract in Chicago, IL. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled critical care nurse who thrives in high-acuity settings and wants a consistent, reliable contract with a trusted hospital system.
Position Highlights- 12-week contract
- Day or Night shift options (based on availability)
- High-acuity ICU environment
- Collaborative, supportive care team
- Weekly pay + guaranteed hours
- Provide high-level critical care to complex, unstable patients
- Perform continuous assessment, monitoring, and intervention
- Manage ventilators, drips, and advanced ICU equipment
- Respond quickly to sudden changes in patient condition
- Communicate and collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Active Illinois RN license
- 2+ years ICU experience required
- AHA BLS & ACLS (PALS/TNCC preferred but not required)
- Strong critical-thinking and rapid decision-making skills
- Ability to stay calm and focused in high-stress situations
