Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, ensuring timely assessment, intervention, and support during medical emergencies.

• Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, and prioritize care based on severity and urgency.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, paramedics, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient conditions continuously and respond promptly to changes in status.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, procedures, and follow-up care.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.

• Proven experience or strong interest in emergency nursing preferred.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required;
  Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.

$39.50 / hour starting wage

• Graduate of an accredited RN program
• One year of experience working with the population we serve
• Current state RN License
• Current driver’s license, car registration, and auto insurance
• Current CPR/First Aid certification
• Excellent assessment skills with the ability to exercise critical thinking in the clinical environment.
• Effective communication skills — ability to communicate clearly with team members, medical professionals, those we serve, and their families
