Role Overview
Seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse for Pediatric and Infant Special Care Units, providing compassionate and safe nursing care. The nurse will independently assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, while guiding unlicensed assistive personnel and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes and safety. Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process, promoting high-quality patient experiences, and ensuring effective communication across disciplines.
Qualifications & Skills- Current Illinois Nursing License
- Graduate of an NLN-accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (AHA)
- Minimum two years recent acute pediatric and Level III Infant Special Care experience
- Specialized knowledge in pediatric and neonatal intensive care
- Provide safe, effective nursing care to pediatric and infant patients
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care and communicate with team members
- Ensure safety and quality in patient care and experience
