Key responsibilities of the RN – ER/ED include:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the ER
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage ventilator cases
- Administer medications and manage IV lines
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient care
- Document patient information in the EPIC system
Requirements of the RN – ER/ED include:
- Valid RN license
- 2 years of ER experience
- Certifications:
BLS, NIH, ACLS, PALS - Preferred Cert: TNCC
- Strong IV and cardiac monitoring skills
