American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with an active IL license, scrub experience, and neurosurgery background for a 13-week assignment.

• Operating Room unit at an academic medical center in Hyde Park, Chicago
• Day shift, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call responsibilities include one 8-hour on-call shift per week when needed
• May rotate to weekend shifts
• Handles stereotactic neurosurgical cases, neuro spine cases, and craniotomy cases with tumor resections
• Epic EMR experience preferred; candidates with over one year of Epic experience can skip the instructor-led class

• Active IL RN license required and in hand
• Scrub experience required
• Neurosurgery nursing experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
• Less than 2 years of experience accepted
• Current Nursys report required, pulled within the last 2 weeks
• No license discrepancies allowed

• Provides specialized nursing care for stereotactic neurosurgical, neuro spine, and craniotomy tumor resection cases
• RTO limited to no more than 3 days and not permitted during the first or last week of the contract
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Former staff of this health system (including PRN or affiliated locations) must have a 7-month separation before returning as a traveler
• Any schedule or block requests must be discussed and approved prior to offer acceptance
