About the Role:

Protouch Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) for a per diem opportunity in Chicago. This position offers flexibility with both day and night shifts available.

As an RNFA, you will play a vital role in supporting surgeons during operative and invasive procedures. You will use your advanced training and clinical expertise to provide direct surgical assistance and ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons during procedures by performing tasks such as suturing, tissue handling, and bleeding control.
• Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care as needed.
• Maintain sterile technique and surgical field safety.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure effective communication and patient care.
• Document patient care accurately and timely according to hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license (Illinois)
• RNFA certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of surgical or perioperative experience preferred
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
