Job Summary:

Provide mental health nursing care to patients on a per diem basis, ensuring safety and well-being during 12-hour shifts. This position offers flexibility within a 13-week assignment, requiring minimal initial requirements for compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular assessments of patient mental and physical health status.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately in compliance with facility standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies or behavioral incidents.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety, confidentiality, and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in good standing.
• Proven experience in psychiatric or mental health nursing.
• Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations.
• Knowledge of mental health conditions and treatment modalities.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and adapt to minimal initial requirements.
