Registered Nurse IMC​/PCU​/Stepdown

Job Summary:

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit on a per diem basis. This role involves supporting patient recovery and ensuring compliance with clinical standards during a 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess clinical conditions regularly.
• Document patient care activities thoroughly and accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility requirements prior to start.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of one year of recent hospital nursing experience in an ICU, PCU, or Stepdown unit.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and adapt to a flexible scheduling environment.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of acute patient care protocols.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
