Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPN or RN to join our team at Little Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a 106-bed skilled nursing and psychiatric facility in Chicago, Illinois. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met. Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate understanding and utilize nursing policies and procedures in the administration of resident care
  • Direct day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants and ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures
  • Provide exceptional care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and medication administration
  • Participate in the facility's quality assurance program and assist in facility surveys
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents and staff
  • Perform various nursing duties, including medication administration, wound care, and restorative and rehabilitative programs
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience as an LPN or RN
  • Current LPN or RN license in the State of Illinois
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
