Erie Family Health Centers, a top workplace in Chicago and suburbs, is looking for a valuable addition to our Reproductive Health team! Certified Nurse Midwife Hospitalists will provide inpatient and telehealth antepartum, intrapartum, and immediate postpartum health care in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease and surveillance of pregnancy. Cares for patients throughout their admission from triage through delivery and postpartum care.

Documents all patient care activities.

• Provides triage, antepartum, intrapartum, and immediate postpartum care according to established protocols and per agreement with collaborating physician. Maintains active hospital delivery privileges as requested.
• Performs history and physical exams on new and return clients.
• Manages acute and chronic illness according to established protocols and/or in collaboration with physician.
• Provides telehealth triage of antepartum and postpartum acute issues according to established protocols.
• Provides follow-up with health care providers or community agencies, as necessary.
• Keeps accurate and timely records as required.

• Master of Science in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice.
• Basic rescuer CPR Certification.

• Advance Practice Registered Nurse – Certified Nurse Midwife license in Illinois.
• Certification as a nurse midwife.
• Proficiency in medical Spanish preferred.
• At least 2 years of CNM experience preferred.
• Comfortable covering a busy L&D
