Director Of Nursing (Don)

An established post-acute and long-term care organization is seeking an experienced Director Of Nursing (Don) to lead nursing operations and clinical services. The ideal candidate is a hands-on nursing leader who is passionate about quality care, staff development, and positive resident outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily nursing operations and clinical services.
• Lead, mentor, and develop nursing leadership and staff.
• Ensure compliance with CMS, state regulations, and company policies.
• Monitor clinical outcomes, quality measures, and QAPI initiatives.
• Maintain survey readiness and oversee plans of correction.
• Oversee infection prevention and clinical standards.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and nursing labor.
• Partner with physicians, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum 2 years of Director Of Nursing experience in skilled nursing or long-term care.
• Strong knowledge of CMS regulations and state survey requirements.
• Experience with clinical quality and performance improvement initiatives.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to lead and develop nursing teams.
