Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:

Provide high-quality nursing care in a labor and delivery setting on a per diem basis. Ensure patient safety and support during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages while maintaining compliance with clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and monitor vital signs during labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed by medical staff.
• Support patients through labor, providing education, comfort, and emotional care.
• Document patient progress, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Ensure all compliance requirements are met prior to shift start and complete full compliance profile within two weeks.

Qualifications:

• Valid registered nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum compliance requirements completed prior to starting.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong assessment and communication skills.
• Experience in labor and delivery preferred but minimal requirements accepted.
• Flexibility to work on a strike order basis and meet scheduling needs.
