Summary
The Nursing Education Department Coordinator provides operational, administrative, educational, and regulatory support for the Nursing Education,Quality,and Professional Development Department. This role coordinates the planning, implementation, tracking,reporting,and evaluation of educational programs, orientation activities, competencytraining, continuing education initiatives,learning management system,nursing quality indicators,and residency programs, and regulatory,risk and contract compliance activities for nursing and interdisciplinary healthcare staff.
The Coordinator serves as a key liaison among nursing leadership, educators,and clinical, Human Resources,Finance, Legal, IS,Quality, and Infection Prevention departments,as well as external organizations and regulatory agencies to ensure department activities align with organizational goals, evidence-based practice standards, Joint Commission requirements, CMS Conditions of Participation, state regulations, and professional nursing standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and a minimum of 5 years experience in administrative and program leadership within a healthcare, educational or nonprofit organization.
