American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a CVOR position requiring 2 years of busy OR experience and Epic proficiency.

• Busy operating room department performing open heart surgeries, medical, orthopedic, and multiple other surgical case types
• Day shift schedule, five 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday, 06:45-15:15
• Work day hours may extend depending on case load
• On-call requirements include one night every 2 weeks and one weekend every 6 weeks
• Uses Epic EMR

• Active IL RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and DCI/BVP
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a busy OR department required
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

• Perform surgical nursing duties supporting open heart, orthopedic, and general surgical cases
• Accepts local candidates

The $2,270 weekly pay shown in this posting, along with related figures, corresponds to the higher end of this range. Weekly travel pay includes tax-free stipends per IRS guidelines. Weekly local pay is fully taxable and therefore lower due to additional employer-paid taxes and related costs.
