Full job description Nurse Supervisor (RN or LPN)

We are seeking a dedicated PM Nurse Supervisor (RN or LPN) toperform supervisory and professional work in directing and coordinating nursing units. The work requires administrative ability, knowledge of training techniques, the ability to adapt techniques and procedures under unusual situations, and the exercise of initiative and good judgment.

Evening Nurse Supervisors must have the following:
Nursing License required by the state. RN or LPN
Ability to work Monday - Friday 4pm-1230am
Compliant with the state’s Health Care Worker Background Check requirements with respect to criminal history
Promote and facilitate teamwork.
Demonstrate a high standard of ethics.
Knowledge of nursing and medical procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.
Leadership and supervisory skills.
Able to make independent decisions.
As a skilled, compassionate Evening Nurse Supervisor, you will:
Direct the day-to-day activities of the clinical staff.
Complete required record keeping upon resident admission, discharge, and transfer; chart and document per facility policy.
Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician and perform other drug administration functions per established policies.
Make daily rounds of units and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Verify daily staffing and redistribute as necessary to ensure proper staffing ratios.
Collaborate with all charge nurses regarding resident care, conditions, and all matters regarding resident well-being.
Respond to any/all emergencies throughout the shift.
Other duties as directed.
