** Hourly Pay Range:**$37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
*** Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.
***** Position Highlights:
** The Clinical Decisional Unit is a low acuity unit that monitors and evaluates patients for an observation period of up to 16 hours. During the stay, a decision is made whether to discharge or admit the patient. If you enjoy a fast-paced, hospital-based patient care environment, this may be the unit for you!

Registered Nurse – Clinical Decisional Unit - Nights

* Location:

Chicago, IL
* Full Time (36 hours/week)

* Hours:

Nights (7p-730a); every other weekend and rotating holidays required
* Required Travel:
May float to other inpatient units as needed.

* What you will do:

*** Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnosis, plan, implement and evaluate the delivery of nursing care to patients and their families.
* Maintains competency reflective of current standards practice.
* Interacts and contributes to the professional development of peers and colleagues.
* Integrates ethical provisions in all areas of nursing practice.
* Integrates evidence-based practice and research findings into nursing practice.
* Recognizes and adjusts to situations that vary from the norm.
* Promotes safety measures to prevent patient and staff injuries.
* Guides and supervises staff in the provision of patient care.
* Enhances own professional growth and development.
* Maintains a safe therapeutic working environment and recognizes need for action in emergency situations.
* Documentation is thoroughly and timely completed
* Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

* What you will need:

*** At least one year of experience as a staff nurse preferred
* At least 1 year of Cardiac Tele Experience preferred
* Critical Care experience is preferred
* Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
* Demonstrates mastery of nursing skills.
* Communicates effectively and is able to guide and supervise nursing personnel.
* Current Illinois Nursing licensure
* American Heart Association CPR Certification
* American Heart Association ACLS Certification required with in 3 months of hire
* NIHSS Certification within one month of hire
* PALS, NRP may be required within six months depending on the unit requirements
