Veterinary Technician

We are currently looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team at Livingston Animal Hospital in Livingston, Texas.

Livingston Animal Hospital has been proudly serving our fantastic clientele since 2013. Our busy 3 doctor hospital offers a wide range of veterinary services for dogs, cats, large animals, and exotics. If you're interested in working with different species, this is your chance! • Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in Texas preferred but not required
• 2+ years of veterinary clinical experience as a veterinary technician, including phlebotomy and surgical experience.
• Ability to work rotating Saturdays
• Comfortable drawing blood and placing IV catheters
• Surgical experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
• Ability to be adaptable and work well with existing doctors and team members
• Ability to perform nursing care in a hospital setting
• Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
• Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
