About the Role

The American Hospital Association (AHA) is a national organization representing hospitals, health care networks, and communities. This hybrid role (three days in the office and two days remote) supports the implementation and coordination of initiatives focused on behavioral health, violence prevention, and workforce development.

Responsibilities
  • Support day‑to‑day program operations, stakeholder engagement activities, and dissemination of program content across multiple platforms.
  • Coordinate project workflows, maintain timelines, trackers, and documentation for multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share program content, including newsletters, toolkits, case studies, podcasts, presentations, and social media materials.
  • Support the production of recurring communications and campaigns, including email distributions and digital communications.
  • Prepare for and execute meetings, convenings, and events (in‑person and virtual), managing logistics, scheduling, agendas, registrations, and post‑event follow‑up.
  • Provide stakeholder engagement support, coordinating advisory groups, committees, and external partners, and creating meeting summaries.
  • Maintain and update stakeholder data systems and contact lists to ensure accuracy across platforms.
  • Organize and maintain up‑to‑date digital content across platforms, update webpages, support content development, and monitor online communities.
  • Track and report on program activities and engagement metrics, compiling data and insights to inform decision‑making and continuous improvement.
  • Produce high‑quality, audience‑centered written and oral communications that align with organizational voice and standards.
  • Execute recurring processes and program tasks, demonstrating ownership and proactive advancement of work.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Social Science, Health Administration, Public Policy, Healthcare, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience participating in project development and program support, including research.
  • Experience working in health systems, social services, or the public health sector.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry trends, especially workforce, behavioral health, and violence prevention.
  • Knowledge of meeting planning and logistics.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to learn analytical software.
  • Ability to prioritize work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary & Benefits

Salary Range:
Minimum: $61,000
, Midpoint: $76,000
, Maximum: $91,000
. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
