Associate Quality Director
Our Building Division is currently seeking an experienced Associate Quality Director for our Chicago, IL Corporate Office Headquarters. This position will work closely with our Quality Director to lead and enhance the company’s Quality Management Program across the Building Division.
The Associate Quality Director will collaborate with Project Executives, Project Managers, Superintendents, and other operations staff, as well as subcontractors, clients, and third-party partners, to foster and maintain a strong culture of quality across all projects.
ResponsibilitiesLead Project Quality Kick-Off Trainings to establish expectations and standards
Conduct Project Quality Evaluations and ongoing assessments
Perform quality-focused site visits and walkthroughs (nationwide travel required)
Review and evaluate Work Plans, Preparatory Meetings, and Initial Inspections Documentation
Proactively drive quality issue prevention strategies
Lead troubleshooting efforts for quality-related challenges
Deliver quality-focused presentations and training sessions to both small and large groups
Analyze and report on quality performance data and trends
10+ years of related construction or architectural experience
5+ years of quality experience
Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering or other related field of study
Expertise in building enclosure systems is highly preferred
Technical knowledge of:
structural steel
structural & architectural concrete/precast
MEP-FP Systems
interior finishes
Deep understanding of the building process and work planning
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence and lead
Proven ability to develop and deliver training programs
Aptitude in MSFT Office Apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Office)
