Position DescriptionAssist with equipment and product procurement and/or supply chain services for assigned projects in coordination with Source Blue team.
Essential Duties &Key Responsibilities
- Assist with reviews of equipment and procurement packages for compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Track and document product related issues from clients, Owner's Representatives, designers, consultants, General Contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors and elevate to appropriate supervisor.
- Assist with preparation of scope of work documents, coordinate matrices, and bid response forms for vendor bid packages.
- Assist with Support reviews of project submittals and shop drawings to provide misaligned findings to contract specifications.
- Visit project sites to observe quality and placement of products.
- Visit manufacturers' factories to observe Factory Witness Tests and learn about product development, and specifications.
- Assist with Supply Chain heat mapping, vendor database, resiliency systems, equipment tracking, and other duties to support development of business products and services.
- Perform data entry to update and maintain master procurement data (e.g., pricing, contracts, delivery schedules).
- Follow standardized processes for development and maintenance of project documentation (e.g., equipment tracking log, project budget reports, cost reports, Requests for Information (RFI) documents, change order and close out logs).
- Assist with reviews of change orders including preparation of independent analysis, estimates for vendor requests, approvals, and conflict resolutions, and submit to Source Blue Manager for approval.
- Assist with vendor prequalification process as requested.
- Participate in closeout process and assist with preparation of final records for projects (e.g., Requests for Information (RFIs), closeout records, warranties, as-builts, spare parts, Operations & Maintenance product manuals (O&Ms), inventory) and evaluate information to ensure compliance with contract documents.

Performance of the required duties require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, ability to climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction.
The employee must regularly be mobile, sometimes travel short and long distances, and occasionally perform work on-site at construction work sites, office locations, and/or off-site venues. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

The employee regularly works in an office or remote setting where noise is usually quiet to moderate. The employee occasionally works at construction work sites where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes, or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock.
The noise in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The employee is required to work in compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and applicable laws.

Qualifications- In pursuit of college or university degree (Associate's or Bachelor's Degree) from accredited degree program in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or other related degree program or field, or minimum of 2 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Supply Chain experience and/or internship/co-op experience in construction industry preferred.
- General knowledge of Supply Chain operations and construction products (e.g., Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical) desired.
