  • Expected Pay Range: $85K-$95K, exempt
  • Bonus: This role may further qualify for supplemental compensation in the form of bonus and incentive programs, contingent upon achieving pre-established individual and company performance metrics.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the development, maintenance, and optimization of food and nutraceutical product specifications across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
  • Integrate regulatory, customer, supply chain, risk assessment, and internal capability inputs to ensure accurate and compliant specifications.
  • Establish and manage specification maintenance and distribution programs to ensure stakeholders have access to current documentation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to incorporate learnings from non-conformances, testing failures, and customer complaints into specifications.
  • Support international specifications by integrating global regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives related to specification management.
What You’ll Bring
  • Five or more years of quality assurance experience, including direct experience developing food specifications.
  • Background in food manufacturing or dietary supplement quality assurance, with CPG experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety hazards, regulatory requirements, and quality systems for U.S. and international markets.
  • Proven ability to manage programs, integrate complex information, and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related discipline required.
