We are looking for a Senior SDET Automation Engineer with 10+ years of experience in the required skill set.

• Local Chicago candidates only.

• Position is currently hybrid and will eventually transition to full-time onsite.
• Candidates should be able to work independently.
• Initial phone screening, followed by an in-person interview for shortlisted candidates.

• Strong Automation Testing experience.
• Hands-on experience with Karate, Java, and Cucumber (mandatory).
• Experience with API Automation Testing.
• AWS experience is a plus.
• 8–10+ years of relevant experience.

• Bachelor's degree required.

• Develop and maintain test automation code to support CI/CD pipelines, systems, infrastructure, and test frameworks.
• Design, develop, and maintain API test automation frameworks for scripting, execution, and result analysis.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor QA/Test Automation engineers across onshore and offshore teams.
• Train team members on creating, executing, analyzing, and maintaining automated regression test suites.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to understand business requirements, resolve issues, and implement enhancements.
• Develop automated functional test scripts using Java, Karate, Cucumber, and JMeter.
• Perform exploratory and manual testing when required.
• Promote QA best practices, testing methodologies, and automation standards.
• Review and support database-related changes as needed.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining security measures to protect systems and data.
