What You’ll DoAs a Processing Lab Technician, you will work within the Processing Laboratory Department and report to the Lab Manager. Your day‑to‑day duties will include:
- Prepping chemicals and performing preventive maintenance.
- Carrying out calibration, tracking, documenting, packaging, labeling, and cleaning in accordance with state regulations and Curaleaf standards.
- Keeping the workspace clean and free of waste.
- Tracking data through paperwork and our electronic batch record system on an iPad.
- Using internal tracking systems such as Bio Track and METRC.
- Improving operational efficiency by reducing waste through teamwork, communication, and collaboration.
- Performing in‑process and post‑process quality‑assurance testing and visual inspections to ensure products meet or exceed specifications.
- Ensuring 100% compliance with weighing, data recording, product tracking, and security requirements.
- Operating in compliance with OSHA regulations, Curaleaf and state SOPs, and all applicable procedures.
- Labeling products in compliance with state regulations.
- Following instructions and assisting with tasks delegated by laboratory management.
- Preparing materials for processing according to daily tasks.
- Maintaining consistency and efficacy through quality‑control testing.
- Completing sanitation of all production equipment, tools, and workspace.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Excellent verbal interpersonal communication skills.
- Basic math skills and strong organizational abilities.
- Attention to detail and understanding of weights and measurements.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and ability to adapt.
- Experience with safe handling and disposal of chemicals and hazardous waste.
- Previous agriculture or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently with direction.
- Availability to travel approximately 5% of the time.
