Role OverviewAs a Luxury Residential Leasing Agent, you will guide renters through their apartment search from first inquiry to move‑in. This includes coordinating tours, managing communication, preparing tailored apartment options, and ensuring every client receives smooth, informed, and supportive experience. You’ll collaborate closely with property management teams and maintain accurate records throughout each search.
Primary Duties- Work directly with renters to understand their budget, preferred neighborhoods, and move‑in needs
- Research available apartments and prepare tailored lists for clients
- Schedule and conduct in‑person or virtual tours
- Communicate with leasing offices and property managers regarding availability, requirements, and application steps
- Maintain organized client notes, follow‑ups, and listing updates
- Stay informed on Chicago neighborhoods, buildings, pricing trends, and market conditions
- Utilize social media platforms to market listings, attract new clients, and strengthen personal brand presence
- Ensure all communication is clear, accurate, and timely
- Industry‑leading CRM (Follow Up Boss) for organized client management and automated workflows
- Apartment locating software with real‑time availability and building information
- Competitive commission split designed to reward consistent production
- Structured systems, templates, and processes to support communication and follow‑up
- Hands‑on support from leadership for questions, deals, and day‑to‑day operations
- A clean, professional brand that helps agents present themselves confidently
- Flexible scheduling with the ability to manage your own pipeline

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate or sales
- Active Illinois Leasing or Broker License
- Ability to work weekends and peak summer leasing hours
- Reliable personal smartphone and laptop for daily tasks
- Strong communication and follow‑up skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients and tours at once
- Familiarity with Chicago neighborhoods and rental buildings (or willingness to learn quickly)
This role is compensated through real estate commissions earned by helping clients lease an apartment.
