Premier Pursuit is working with an AmLaw 100 firm to hire a real estate associate into its Chicago office. This is the capital side of real estate (financings, joint ventures, and portfolio acquisitions for institutional investors, funds, and developers) rather than a pure leasing seat.

• Real estate finance: mortgage and mezzanine loans, construction lending, workouts and restructurings
• Joint ventures and equity investments, including fund-level and programmatic arrangements
• Acquisitions and dispositions of single assets and portfolios, with the diligence and title work that comes with them
• Development and construction matters for clients building rather than only holding

• 3–6+ years of commercial real estate transactional experience
• Real exposure to the finance or joint venture side
• Illinois bar admission or eligibility to waive in

Chicago a deep real estate bench right now, and the openings are concentrated at the mid-level. I have several searches running here at firms in the same tier, including one construction-focused seat and one that sits closer to the M&A side of real estate, so there's more range here than a single posting suggests.
