Key Responsibilities- Independently execute complex translational research projects integrating Tempus multimodal data to derive real‑world insights for biopharma partners.
- Present scientific findings clearly and meaningfully to diverse external stakeholders.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and computational oncology research, applying this knowledge to enhance methodologies and improve overall research quality.
- PhD in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Biostatistics, Statistical Genetics, Cancer Genetics, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computational Immunology) or a PhD in Molecular Biology/Immunology with a strong computational biology record; alternatively an MSc with 4+ years industry experience.
- Highly proficient in R (ideally Rmd and/or RShiny); experience with Pandas, Num Py, Scikit‑learn, Jupyter, and RStudio.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex information persuasively to diverse audiences.
- Strong understanding of molecular data and AI in drug discovery; experience with integrative modeling of multimodal clinical and omics data; prior consulting and/or client‑facing experience desirable.
- Experience with R package development; strong peer‑reviewed publication record.
- Proficient in Git, Docker, and AWS; knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, D3, Plot.ly, Flask, and Docker.
Salary ranges: $90,000‑$135,000 USD (NYC/SF: $100,000‑$150,000 USD). These are applicable for California roles and may vary for other locations (Colorado, Illinois, New York). Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and experience.
