User Experience Researcher

About

As a UX Researcher, you will work directly with our user experience team to help leading hospitals, universities, and financial institutions make better decisions with their financial, operational, and strategic data so they can care for their communities.

• Conduct generative and evaluative research, guiding the product team through all stages of product development.
• Advocate for user needs in cross‑functional discussions while balancing business objectives.
• Refine unclear questions into research opportunities, share insights across teams, and ensure those insights shape product decisions from discovery through launch.
• Brainstorm research questions with the research team.
• Collaborate with product managers and design partners to uncover gaps in knowledge.
• Review findings and recommendations with design partners.
• Share the latest research trends with the team to spark discussion.
• Guide the team through research plan pros and cons and the decision‑making process.

• 2+ years of professional UX research experience on product teams, preferably within SaaS, finance, or healthcare environments.
• Ability to navigate both clear and ambiguous problem spaces, selecting appropriate research methods and adapting approaches based on project constraints.
• Skill in synthesizing findings into clear, actionable insights that inform product decisions.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize work and independently drive research projects forward.
• Demonstrated experience conducting generative and evaluative research, analysis, and delivering actionable insights.
• Ability to incorporate quantitative data (product analytics, surveys, behavioral metrics) to complement qualitative insights.
• Familiarity with product analytics tools such as Pendo, with an interest in leveraging usage data for research.
• Interest in integrating AI tools into research workflows, maintaining rigor and quality.
• Comfortable offering research advice in group settings and becoming a trusted research partner to stakeholders.
• Willingness to dig into existing and new research, critically assess assumptions, propose new ideas, and remain open to opposing viewpoints.
• Willow to take end‑to‑end ownership of research studies and seek feedback and guidance from senior team members.
• Enthusiastic about the growth and development of the research function.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000. Actual salary will be determined based on factors including skill set and level of experience.
