Department:
Biochemistry & Molecular Genetics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine is seeking a full‑time tenure‑track Investigator at the rank of Assistant Professor. The department boasts a large faculty body, with research interests spanning a wide array of disciplines, including biochemistry, epigenetics, metabolism, and statistical genetics/computational biology.

Chicago, Illinois

Qualifications
  • Ph.D. and/or MD in biochemistry, molecular biology, or a related field, by the time of appointment.
  • Research expertise in one or more of epigenetics, metabolism, immunity, or neurobiology.
Responsibilities
  • Build a competitive research program in the area of Biochemistry & Molecular Genetics.
  • Mentor and teach graduate students, medical students, and/or post‑doctoral fellows.
  • Contribute to the goals and advancement of the Department and School.

Start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.

The expected base pay range for this position is $135,000 to $150,000.
