Pay Range: $20.19 - $31.80 per hour

Summary

Equal Hope is a non-profit sitting on the Rush University Medical Center Campus. Equal Hope is dedicated to eradicating women’s health racial, ethnic and class disparities and is a mission-oriented healthcare justice organization. Equal Hope is seeking a dedicated Data Coordinator to work with our consortium and research projects to support the organization and implementation of key initiatives. The Data Coordinator will play a critical role in managing and analyzing data to inform decision‑making, project planning, and outcomes evaluation.

Required

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in data management, statistics, public health, or a related field.
  • Experience in data collection, analysis, and management, preferably in a research or consortium setting.
  • Proficiency in data management software, database systems, and statistical analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in handling complex datasets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Knowledge of research methods, data ethics, and regulatory requirements in data management.
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving project needs and contribute to a team‑oriented work culture.
  • Commitment to data accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity in handling sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, Stata), and data visualization tools.

Job Responsibilities
  • Collect, organize, and maintain data from consortium and research projects, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality.
  • Manage databases and data systems, including data entry, updates, and quality control to ensure data integrity and reliability.
  • Conduct data analysis, generate reports, and visualize data to support project objectives, identify trends, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Assist in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of consortium and research projects by providing data support and analysis as needed.
  • Work closely with project teams, researchers, and external partners to coordinate data collection efforts, streamline processes, and facilitate data sharing.
  • Conduct data quality checks, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with data management standards and protocols.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of data sources, protocols, and analysis procedures for transparency and reproducibility.
  • Provide training and support to project staff on data collection tools, database use, and data analysis techniques.
  • Prepare regular progress reports, data summaries, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders to communicate project status and findings.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, research ethics guidelines, and institutional policies related to data management and protection.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, data standardization, and adoption of best practices in data management and analysis.
