Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe post-doctoral Research Scholar participates substantially in full-time, mentored research or scholarship. It is a transitional position and is viewed as preparatory for an academic and/or research career. The scholar may also serve as a collaborator on a multi-scholar research initiative, and may have lead responsibility for discrete components of a larger project under the general direction of a senior or principal researcher.
Minimum Education and/or Work ExperienceM.D. or PhD Required in a related field
Qualifications- A PhD is required in a closely related field (Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering)
- Extensive expertise in the areas of synthesis and self-assembly techniques relevant to inorganic nanocrystals or macromolecules.
- A few of the following characterization skills ( SEM , SAXS , Raman, GISAXS , XRD ) will be required for this position
