Research Associate
The Development of Social Cognition Lab and the Developmental Investigations of Behavior & Strategy Laboratory are hiring a Research Associate to manage research activities. Research topics focus on the development of social cognition and existential cognition.
The job provides technical support activities related to scientific research projects. Ensures compliance of research activities with institutional, state, and federal regulatory policies, procedures, directives and mandates. Assists in drafting presentations on research findings.
Responsibilities include stimuli preparation and experimental design, interfacing with family, museum, and school partners, performing editorial and copy-editing functions as needed, managing and extending our online database for testing participants, assisting with developing projects associated with ongoing grants, providing technical and administrative support for a research project, assisting with the installation, setup and performance of experiments, and performing other related work as needed.
Minimum qualifications include vocational training, apprenticeships or equivalent experience in a related field, and 2-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field.
