Qualifications of the R&D Scientist:- A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a closely related discipline (MS or PhD preferred).
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in developing formulations.
- In-depth understanding of formulation techniques and industry practices.
- Proficient in analytical instruments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong skills in organization and managing multiple projects.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance guidelines.
- Design and develop innovative formulations, such as tablets and gummies.
- Optimize formulations for improved stability, bioavailability, and patient adherence.
- Ensure all formulations adhere to regulatory guidelines and industry standards.
- Understand and apply 21 CFR FDA drug compliance requirements.
- Perform HPLC stability testing, dissolution tests, and other essential evaluations to confirm formulation safety and effectiveness.
- Develop prototypes and samples for further testing and validation.
- Analyze experimental data and draw insights to drive formulation improvements.
- Maintain accurate, detailed records of all experiments and outcomes.
- Ensure formulations align with internal quality benchmarks.
- Implement quality control processes throughout the formulation development lifecycle.
- Collaborate effectively with teams such as quality control, regulatory, and production.
- Communicate progress, challenges, and results clearly to stakeholders.
- Stay informed on the latest trends in pharmaceutical formulation and evolving regulatory standards.
