Position Overview

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to guests in a relaxed, upscale setting. The ideal candidate will be skilled in crafting a variety of cocktails, offering wine and beer selections, and providing personalized service to create a welcoming, comfortable environment for all patrons. Bartenders should be knowledgeable, attentive, and able to multitask effectively while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and serve a variety of classic, contemporary, and signature cocktails with precision and artistry.
  • Provide an engaging and memorable experience for guests through personalized recommendations and storytelling about cocktails and spirits.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of premium liquors, wine, beer, and cocktail ingredients, including sourcing local and sustainable options when available.
  • Uphold all health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and sanitary work environment.
  • Greet and interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner. Take drink orders, offer recommendations, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Follow standardized recipes for mixed drinks and cocktails, and create signature drinks when appropriate.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked bar area throughout the shift.
  • Monitor and clean the bar area regularly, including cleaning glassware and utensils, wiping down counters, and removing waste.
  • Take customer payments and handle cash, room charges, credit card transactions, and tab management accurately.
  • Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations related to alcohol service, including checking IDs to verify legal drinking age.
  • Communicate effectively with other team members and managers to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient service.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team and business.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Minimum of 2 years of prior bartending or mixologist experience
  • Strong knowledge of drink recipes, cocktail preparation, and bartending tools. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer experiences.
  • Possess an upbeat, positive, motivated and professional personality.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to safely lift, move, and stack items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and often loud environment
