Be responsible for supporting the bartender in keeping the bar stocked and clean, and make drinks when needed;
Control the amount of alcohol served, so that guests do not become intoxicated;
Keep bar area supplied in glassware, garnishes, etc;
Provide bartenders with the appropriate spirit/glass/garnish/tool to help them move efficiently and quickly in making drinks;
Clean up any spills/broken glassware in the bar area;
Oversee bar maintenance.
