Overview

Position Title: Porter/Polisher

Location: The Hand and The Eye, Downtown Chicago, IL

Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00

Power the operation behind the scenes. As a Porter, you’ll support the entire venue by maintaining cleanliness and organization in all back-of-house areas. You ll ensure the team has a clean, safe, and stocked environment to serve every guest at the highest level.

• Clean and sanitize kitchens, prep spaces, and storage areas
• Remove trash and recycling regularly throughout shifts
• Restock cleaning supplies and paper products
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and common areas
• Assist with equipment and facility upkeep
• Support kitchen and event staff as needed

• Experience in janitorial, facilities, or kitchen support (preferred)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts
• Food Handler Certification (preferred)
