Truck cashier/scooper | Event/Roaming Trucks, Brookfield Zoo and Shedd Aquarium
Pay Range: Starting at $15/hour + TIPS, based on experience
OverviewAt every stop, we set colorful chairs, cones, music – and of course, our ice cream truck! Having the right set up and creating the right environment helps create unforgettable moments for our communities, filled with joy, fun and of course, RAINBOW CONES!
Responsibilities- Order taking
- Communicate with the team for special orders or any allergies
- Wiping down counters
- Restock ice cream flavors in display tubs
- Restock bowls, cones, behind the counter
- Restock napkins and spoons for customers
- Wipe down surfaces in between customers
- Assist with other tasks as needed
- High school diploma or GED certificate a plus
- Ability to effectively communicate, whether written or verbally
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Current food handler’s card preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Prior cashier experience a plus
- Flexibility of hours
- Customer service skills
- Reliable transportation is a must
