HIRING: Barista / Beverage Specialist

Location: FROTH at The Duncan - 1515 W Monroe St, Chicago, IL 60607

Schedule: Thursday-Sunday, 4:00 PM-12:00 AM

Compensation: $14.50/hr + tips

Start Date: late-November / early-December

FROTH (part of Heritage Hospitality) is expanding its hours and reimagining what nightlife can look like - no alcohol, no hangovers, just great drinks, great people, and a different kind of buzz.

, an evening program centered around THC-infused beverages
, zero-proof cocktails
, and non-alcoholic beers and wines - all served with the same hospitality and craft that define FROTH's daytime café experience.

We’re looking for an evening Barista / Beverage Specialist who thrives in calm, connected service environments and has curiosity about emerging beverage culture. This role is ideal for someone who has café experience, a genuine sense of hospitality, and wants to be part of a new movement in Chicago’s beverage scene.

• Prepare, serve, and understand a menu of classic café offerings, non-alcoholic beverages, and THC beverages in accordance with Heritage Hospitality's standards & recipes and local compliance guidelines.
• Educate guests on product types, dosage, and effects with professionalism and accuracy.
• Manage flow behind the counter and maintain a clean, organized service area.
• Ensure compliance with  and serving procedures.
• Operation of the Square point-of-sale system and accurate handling of card transactions.
• Monitor, stock, and communicate needs of product inventory.
• Execution of opening and closing procedures.
• Perform side work as needed and support the kitchen team with coordination on food orders.

• Minimum 1 year of barista experience and curiosity about THC and non-alcoholic trends is required. Experience as a bartender is a plus.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have or obtain a valid Food Handler certification.
• Must be ableto stand for extended periods of time and reach, bend, and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be comfortable working evening hours. (4:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Thursday - Sunday)
• Must possess excellent communication skills and maintain a calm & professional demeanor with reliability, honesty, and integrity.
• Must be comfortable working solo & as a team player.
• Must be able to communicate and write clearly in English;
  Spanish is a plus.
