Pay: $25.00 per hour

Shift Times:

• Weekdays: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• Sunday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
  Schedule Notes: Open availability required; weekend availability required

We are seeking a professional and composed Security Guard to support a high-profile luxury retail environment in Chicago. This role requires a strong, confident presence, sound judgment, and the ability to balance proactive security awareness with a refined, customer-focused guest experience in a fast-paced retail setting.

The ideal candidate is comfortable managing high foot traffic, understands access control and crowd dynamics, and can operate confidently in a visible, client-facing role where discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail are essential.

• Maintain a professional, welcoming, and authoritative presence while greeting and guiding guests, supporting a calm and orderly retail environment, and managing guest movement during regular operations, peak periods, and special retail activations

• Observe store activity and crowd dynamics to identify, address, and escalate suspicious or disruptive behavior using calm, respectful communication and appropriate de-escalation techniques

• Provide clear direction and support during busy hours and communicate effectively with store leadership regarding incidents, concerns, or operational needs

• Maintain confidentiality regarding clientele, staff, and internal operations, and uphold grooming, uniform, and conduct standards consistent with a luxury retail environment

• Valid Illinois PERC Security Card (required)

• Prior experience in law enforcement, military, corrections, security, or door/crowd control strongly preferred; experience in high-volume retail or guest-facing environments is a plus

• Strong situational awareness, sound judgment, and the ability to remain calm, alert, and professional under pressure

• Excellent communication, conflict de-escalation, and interpersonal skills

• Reliable transportation, consistent punctuality, and flexibility to meet scheduling needs

• $25.00 per hour
