Lead Retail Associate

Snow Mountain, LLC is located in the spectacular Lassen Volcanic National Park in California. As one of the country's oldest national parks, Lassen offers gorgeous hiking trails, picturesque lakes that afford fishing and kayaking, and cabins and campgrounds for the those that want to experience the rustic feel of the beautiful outdoors!

Season:
May 18, 2026 to Mid-October 2026 (depending on weather).

Work in close collaboration with the Location Manager to ensure that the retail business operates in an efficient and seamless manner while following all company policies and procedures to ensure an extraordinary experience for visitors.

• Assist with training of retail staff and backup Retail Manager on days off
• Partner with Location Manager to ensure time and attendance records are submitted in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate knowledge of merchandise, styling and pricing according to the company’s policies and procedures
• Understand the process, and assist the Retail Manager, with correct markups on all products at all times including deli
• Maintain knowledge of product lines with an emphasis on local and regional facts to assist other staff and customers
• Assist with store set up, display and merchandising, inventory audits
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
• Use point of sale system to accurately total, process and collect payments from guests
• Conduct inventory, restock merchandise, and ensure adequate merchandise supply levels are displayed at all times
• Keep retail spaces organized and clean
• Prepare end of shift report, deposit receipts and cash and provide Retail Manager with updates
• Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances
• Maintain job related confidentiality
• Actively foster a positive work environment with a focus on teamwork
• Other duties as assigned

• Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision
• Excellent customer service and people skills
• Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend and holiday shifts
• Gain efficiency with Retail Pro system or comparable POS system (POS and reporting)
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. frequently, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally and handle physical exertion involving bending, twisting, squatting and standing.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent;
College Diploma or equivalent experience

Experience:

Two years retail experience preferred

Two years leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Rental housing is available, double occupancy.
