Location: Chicago Ridge, Illinois

The Sales Associate will support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service through effective communication, product knowledge, and selling techniques. The role also involves maintaining merchandise presentation, replenishment, and a clean store environment.

Key Accountabilities:

• Respond promptly to customer activity, prioritizing assistance
• Greet and acknowledge customers, providing appropriate service
• Communicate merchandise value, current promotions, and offer solutions for out-of-stock items
• Address customer concerns effectively and demonstrate selling skills to improve conversion rates
• Provide quick, friendly, and accurate service at the cashwrap, promoting the PLACE Card
• Maintain stock levels, ensuring all sizes and styles are available
• Follow standards for merchandise presentation, signage, and displays
• Keep the stockroom organized, safe, and ready for customers
• Perform daily housekeeping duties
• Adhere to Loss Prevention procedures to protect company assets
• Report maintenance and facility needs promptly
• Contribute to store goals and exhibit flexibility in processing stock as needed

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Retail experience preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old

Skills and Behaviors:

• Excellent customer engagement skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to changing priorities
• Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and call-in shifts
• Physical ability to maneuver on the sales floor and stockroom, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs

Hourly/Salary: $15.00 - $19.60 per hour
