• Greet, engage, and assist customers actively.
• Process transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling various tenders and coupons according to company policy.
• Adhere to company policies on cash handling, restricted sale items, and pricing discrepancies.
• Follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
• Stay current with promotional ads and adhere to food safety regulations.
• Promote safety by following procedures and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers.
• Comply with all laws and company guidelines.
• Work effectively in a high-paced environment, manage conflicts, and act with honesty and integrity.
• Support and assist diverse customer needs, including minors and seniors.
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Customer service experience.
• Effective communication skills.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).

• Prior customer service experience.
• Experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk.
