The opportunity

Delaware North Sport service is hiring part-time Portable Vendors to join our team at Guarantee Rate Field in Chicago, Illinois. As a Portable Vendor, you will be responsible for selling merchandise at portable food locations in the stadium.

$16.60 – $16.60 / hour

• Retrieve inventory from warehouse area and prepare for sale, report any inventory shortages
• Serve food and beverage items in correct proportions, following proper sanitation guidelines
• Greet guests approaching stand and utilize selling techniques
• Properly record all transactions via the point of sale system
• Perform clean-up duties to maintain the quality appearance of the work area

• Excellent guest service skills
• Ability to complete required pre-employment sanitation and alcohol service training
• Ability to accurately account for cash and inventory
• Ability to communicate with guests and receive orders

• Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• May be exposed to variable temperatures depending on season
